True Italian craftsmanship

From our workshop, to your hands.

A STORY OF PASSION

Coryum Leather Goods was founded in 2016 by Massimiliano, an artisan from Cerveteri. His dedication and love for leather processing for over 20 years have allowed him to become known in the area as a symbol of artisanal quality and reliability.

More than 35 years ago, he took his first steps into the world of craftsmanship, working in the workshops of master shoemakers such as Tonino, Alfredo, and Armedo.

Thanks to the experience he gained, in 1990 he opened his first shoe repair workshop, where he almost playfully began creating his first leather accessories.

The success achieved over the years and the growing appreciation for his artisanal products were the final push for a new project he had been contemplating for years.

Thus, in 2016, the "Coryum" brand was born from the fusion of two words: "corium" from the Latin for leather, and "heart" representing an artisan's passion for their work.

THE QUALITY THAT MADE ITALY GREAT

By choosing Pelletteria Coryum, you take a step towards enhancing Made in Italy and its long tradition in leather processing.

The quality that distinguishes great Italian leathers is recognized worldwide. In fact, thanks to vegetable tanning and the use of manual painting techniques, the raw material acquires the much-desired malleability and freshness, without losing the classic scent, typical of top-quality leathers.

OVER 30 YEARS OF PASSION

For over 30 years, artisan Massimiliano has worked in the world of leather and craftsmanship, a byword for quality, reliability, and transparency. Against the industrialization of the leather world, Pelletteria Coryum remains the benchmark for handmade products and custom-made projects.

Thanks to a lifetime of experience, most work is carried out without the use of machinery, preferring the manual touch, which gives that extra "something" so sought after by those who trust us.

Indeed, the tools of the trade used in those years have been preserved and handed down to Massimiliano, who still uses them today with artisanal techniques that are increasingly difficult to find.
