We also invite the customer to read and accept our Privacy & Cookie Policy on the site, last updated on 26 June 2018 following alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation, EU 2016/679.
Art. 2 - Subject
1. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the offer, submission and acceptance of purchase orders for products on Coryum, and do not govern the supply of services or the sale of products by parties other than the seller that appear on the same site via links, banners or other hyperlinks.
2. Before submitting orders and purchasing products and services from other parties, we suggest checking their terms of sale.
Art. 3 - Conclusion of the contract
1. To conclude the purchase contract, you will need to complete the electronic form and submit it following the relevant instructions.
2. It contains the reference to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the images of each product and its price, the available payment methods, the delivery methods for the purchased products and the related shipping and delivery costs, a reference to the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal, and the methods and times for returning purchased products.
3. Before concluding the contract, you will be asked to confirm that you have read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, including the information on the right of withdrawal and the processing of personal data.
4. The contract is concluded when the seller receives the form completed by the user, after verifying that the data it contains is correct.
5. The user will be obliged to pay the price from the moment the online order submission procedure is completed. This happens by clicking the "Complete order" button at the end of the guided procedure.
6. Once the contract is concluded, the seller takes charge of the order to fulfill it.
Art. 4 - Registered users
1. When completing the registration procedures, the user undertakes to follow the instructions on the site and to provide their personal data correctly and truthfully.
2. Confirmation will in any case release Coryum from any responsibility regarding the data provided by the user. The user undertakes to promptly inform Coryum of any change to the data communicated at any time.
3. Should the user provide inaccurate or incomplete data, or in the event of a dispute by the parties concerned regarding payments made, Coryum may choose not to activate or to suspend the service until the relevant shortcomings are remedied.
4. On the user's first request to activate a profile, Coryum will assign them a username and a password. The user acknowledges that these identifiers constitute the system for validating the user's access to the Services and the only suitable system to identify the user, and that the acts carried out through such access will be attributed to them and be binding upon them.
5. The user undertakes to keep their access data confidential, to safeguard it with due care and diligence, and not to transfer it to third parties, even temporarily.
Art. 5 - Availability of products
1. Product availability refers to the actual availability at the time the user places the order. This availability must in any case be considered purely indicative because, due to the simultaneous presence of several users on the site, products may be sold to other customers before the order is confirmed.
2. Even after the order confirmation email is sent, there may be cases of partial or total unavailability of the goods. In this event, the order will be automatically adjusted by removing the unavailable product, and the user will be informed immediately by email.
3. If the user requests cancellation of the order, terminating the contract, Coryum will refund the amount paid within 10 days from the moment Coryum became aware of the buyer's decision to terminate the contract.
Art. 6 - Products offered
1. Coryum sells: handcrafted creations in vegetable-tanned leather.
2. The offer is detailed on our site at: https://coryum.it/collections/all/
Art. 6 BIS - Personalization and Intellectual Property

d) Sole responsibility: They assume full and total responsibility for the Content provided and for any consequence arising from its use.
3. Indemnification
The customer undertakes to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Coryum, its representatives, employees, collaborators and assignees from any claim, demand, legal action, judicial or extrajudicial proceeding, damage, loss, cost (including legal and court costs) or liability of any nature arising from or related to:
a) The breach of the representations and warranties in paragraph 2 of this article;
b) The use of Content that infringes intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties;
c) Any third-party claim relating to the Content provided by the customer.
In the event of a dispute by third parties, the customer undertakes to appear in court on behalf of Coryum and to bear all financial burdens arising from such dispute, releasing Coryum from any liability.
4. Right of Refusal
Coryum reserves the unquestionable right to:
a) Refuse orders: Refuse to carry out personalization orders where the Content provided by the customer:
- Clearly infringes the intellectual property rights of others (e.g., well-known protected brand logos such as Nike, Adidas, Apple, Disney, Ferrari, etc.);
- Is clearly offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or contrary to the law or public order;
- Infringes the rights of third parties or could expose Coryum to legal liability;
b) Request documentation: Ask the customer, before proceeding, for suitable documentation proving ownership of the rights or the existence of authorizations to use the Content provided;
c) Suspend orders: Suspend fulfillment of the order in case of doubt about the legitimacy of the Content provided, until the situation is clarified;
d) Cancel orders: Cancel the order without any liability towards the customer in the event of established or suspected infringement of third-party rights.
In the event of refusal, suspension or cancellation of the order under this paragraph, Coryum will fully refund any amount already paid by the customer within 14 days, with no further claim by the customer.
5. Exclusion of Liability
Coryum acts merely as the physical executor of the laser engraving according to the specifications provided by the customer and carries out no systematic prior check on the ownership of the rights relating to the Content provided, except in cases of clear evidence under paragraph 4.
Coryum assumes no responsibility:
a) For the customer's use of Content in breach of third-party rights;
b) For any legal action, claims for damages or penalties brought by third parties against the customer for infringement of intellectual property rights;
c) For any consequence arising from the improper or unlawful use of the Content by the customer.
6. Personalized Products and Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with art. 59, paragraph 1, letter c) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal is excluded for made-to-measure or clearly personalized products. Therefore, products personalized by laser engraving are not subject to the right of withdrawal under Art. 11 of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, except in the case of conformity defects under Art. 10.
7. Storage of Content
Coryum does not retain the Content provided by the customer beyond the time strictly necessary to carry out the order. The Content will be deleted from Coryum's systems at the end of processing, unless otherwise required by law.
Art. 7 - Payment methods and prices
1. The price of the products will be the one indicated from time to time on the site, except where there is an obvious error.
2. In case of error, Coryum will notify the buyer as soon as possible, allowing confirmation of the order at the correct amount or its cancellation. Coryum will in any case have no obligation to supply what was sold at the lower, erroneously indicated price.
3. Prices on the site include VAT and do not include shipping costs. Prices may change at any time. Changes do not affect orders for which order confirmation has already been sent.
4. Once the desired products are selected, they will be added to the cart. Simply follow the purchase instructions, entering or verifying the information requested at each step of the process. Order details can be changed before payment.
5. Payment can be made via: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards (Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit), PayPal, bank transfer and cash on delivery.
You can pay cash on delivery directly to the courier delivering the goods. Only cash or banker's drafts are accepted. Cash on delivery adds a 4.50€ surcharge to shipping costs.
Art. 8 - Delivery
1. Coryum ships throughout Italy, excluding the Vatican City State and the Republic of San Marino.
2. Coryum will make its deliveries either to the address provided by the user or to the pickup points indicated at the time of purchase.
3. Available goods are normally shipped within 24 working hours of order confirmation, unless otherwise stated or while stocks last. For your information, we also make personalized products that may take more than 24 working hours to ship; in such cases we will send an email to inform the user.
4. For Italy, delivery is generally made within 1-4 working days, or, if no delivery date is specified, within the term estimated at the time the delivery method is selected and, in any case, within a maximum of thirty days from the confirmation date. Shipments within the European Union will be made within 10 working days and, in any case, within a maximum of thirty days.
5. Domestic shipments are dispatched within 5 working days of the order, while intra-EU shipments may take up to 2 weeks. Every shipment is trackable through the tracking code provided by the courier handling it, on the carrier's website. In any case, Coryum accepts no legal responsibility for any potential delays or missed deliveries on the scheduled days, which falls instead to the shipping provider.
6. If delivery cannot be made, the order will be sent to the depot. In that event, a notice will state where the order is and how to arrange a new delivery.
7. If you are unable to be present at the place of delivery at the agreed time, please contact us again to arrange a new delivery date.
8. If delivery cannot take place for reasons not attributable to us after thirty days from the date the order is available for delivery, we will assume that you intend to terminate the contract.
9. As a result of termination, the amounts will be refunded, including delivery costs, excluding any additional costs arising from choosing a delivery method other than the standard method offered, without undue delay and, in any case, within 10 days of the contract termination date. Transport resulting from termination of the contract may incur additional costs borne by the buyer.
10. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer and are shown explicitly when the order is placed.
11. We currently ship both within Italy and to other EU member states. Costs are 6.90€ for domestic shipping and 19.90€ for intra-EU shipping; however, above a threshold of 150.00€, shipping is free. Each shipment is handled by couriers operating within the European Union.
Art. 9 - Passing of risk
1. The risks relating to the products pass to the buyer from the moment of delivery. Ownership of the products is deemed acquired upon receipt of full payment of all amounts due in relation to them, including shipping costs, or upon delivery, if this occurs later.
Art. 10 - Warranty and commercial conformity
1. The seller is responsible for any defect in the products offered on the site, including the non-conformity of the items to the products ordered, in accordance with Italian law.
2. If the buyer entered into the contract as a consumer, that is, any natural person acting on the site for purposes unrelated to any business or professional activity, this warranty is valid provided that the defect appears within 24 months of the delivery date; that the buyer files a formal complaint regarding the defects within a maximum of 2 months from the date the defect was recognized; and that the online return form is completed correctly.
3. In case of non-conformity, the user who entered into the contract as a consumer will be entitled to have the conformity of the products restored free of charge, by repair or replacement, or to obtain an appropriate price reduction or the termination of the contract for the disputed goods and the consequent return of the price.
4. All return costs for defective products will be borne by the seller.
Art. 11 - Withdrawal
Coryum guarantees complete customer satisfaction.
1. In accordance with the legal provisions in force, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase without any penalty and without specifying a reason, within 14 days pursuant to art. 57 of Legislative Decree 206/2005, running from the date of receipt of the products. This right applies, in accordance with the Consumer Code, if and only if the goods are in the same condition in which they were delivered, aside from the normal inspection the customer makes on receipt.
2. In case of multiple purchases made by the buyer with a single order and delivered separately, the 30-day term runs from the date of receipt of the last product.
3. A user who intends to exercise the right of withdrawal may send an email, indicating the order number and the user's name, to: info@coryum.it
4. The buyer must also exercise the right of withdrawal by sending any explicit statement containing the decision to withdraw from the contract, or alternatively by submitting the standard withdrawal form referred to in Annex I, part B, of Legislative Decree 21/2014 (not mandatory).
5. The goods may be returned to any store in Italy, as indicated on our web page, or shipped to: Via Agillina 22, Cerveteri 00052 RM
6. The goods must be returned intact, in their original packaging, complete in all their parts and with the accompanying tax documentation. Subject to verifying compliance with the above, the site will refund the amount of the products covered by the withdrawal within a maximum of 7 days, including any shipping costs.
7. The cost of re-sending the goods will be borne entirely by Pelletteria Coryum.
8. As provided by art. 56 paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree 21/2014, the site may suspend the refund until the goods are received or until the buyer demonstrates that they have sent the goods back.
9. The right of withdrawal does not apply where Coryum's services and products fall within the categories of art. 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005. In particular, pursuant to art. 59, paragraph 1, letter c) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is expressly excluded for made-to-measure or clearly personalized products. Therefore, it will not be possible to exercise the right of withdrawal for any products that have undergone personalization by laser engraving or other forms of personalization at the customer's request, as governed by Art. 6-bis of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
10. We also ask the customer to take care when trying the purchased product, as we will not accept, for any reason, products with a broken security seal or with the original hanging tags missing or damaged.
11. Finally, we suggest using an express courier to return the goods, to ensure they are shipped correctly and quickly. Goods sent this way are the sole responsibility of the customer and/or the delivery provider, so we accept no legal responsibility for such returned products.
12. The site will issue the refund using the same payment method chosen by the buyer at checkout. In the case of payment by bank transfer, a user wishing to exercise the right of withdrawal must provide their bank details: IBAN, SWIFT and BIC, required to process the refund.
Art. 12 - Data processing
1. The buyer's data is processed in accordance with the applicable personal data protection legislation, as specified in the dedicated section containing the information notice pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (Privacy Policy).
Art. 13 - Severability clause
1. Should one of the clauses of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale be void for any reason, this will in no way compromise the validity and observance of the other provisions set out in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Art. 14 - Contacts
1. Any request for information can be sent by email to info@coryum.it, by phone at 0694848384, and by post to: Via Agillina 6, 00052 Cerveteri RM
Art. 15 - Limitations of Liability
Coryum assumes no legal responsibility and provides no direct compensation for potential damages, direct or consequential incidents, loss of profit, or problems of any kind and nature that occur to the customer in using our products and services, including the website. Any use of the products or services provided by Coryum is the sole responsibility of the customer.
In particular, Coryum assumes no responsibility for:
a) Infringements of intellectual or industrial property rights (copyright, trademarks, patents, designs, etc.) arising from the use of Content provided by the customer for product personalization;
b) Legal actions, claims for damages, administrative penalties or judicial proceedings brought by third parties against the customer for infringement of intellectual property rights relating to the Content provided for personalization;
c) Any consequence arising from the improper, unlawful or unauthorized use of the Content provided by the customer for product personalization.
The customer assumes full responsibility for the Content provided and undertakes to indemnify Coryum against any third-party claim, as governed by Art. 6-bis of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Art. 16 - Applicable law and jurisdiction
1. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Italian law, subject to any overriding mandatory rule of the country of the buyer's habitual residence. Consequently, the interpretation, execution and termination of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject exclusively to Italian law.
2. Any disputes relating to and/or arising from them must be resolved exclusively by the Italian judicial authority. In particular, where the user qualifies as a Consumer, any disputes must be resolved by the court of the place of their domicile or residence under applicable law.
